Mauritius is visa free for Indians. Indian citizens no longer require a visa on arrival for visiting Mauritius.
Digital All in One Travel Form needs to be filled by all passengers including minors travelling to Mauritius. The form can be filled online at https://safemauritius.govmu.org/. Once you submit the form, you will receive a QR code which you need to show at the Immigration and Health counters in Mauritius. Fill Mauritius All-in-One Travel Digital Form online prior to arrival to avoid delay at the immigration counters.
Documents Required for Mauritius Visa Free Entry for Indians
Even though Indians do not require a visa to enter into Mauritius, you still need to carry these documents:
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the departure date
- Proof of accommodation (hotel booking)
- Proof of funds like bank statement, valid credit card, or cash reserves
- Return or onward ticket from Mauritius
Tips
- Currency exchange service is available in the Check-in Halls A and B of the SSR Airport. There is none after Immigration.
- SSR International Airport in Mauritius has 3 bus services to different parts of Mauritius.
- Bus 09 operates daily every 10 minutes between Mahebourg Bus Station and Curepipe Jan Palach South Bus Station via the Airport
- Bus 10 operates daily every 20 minutes between Mahebourg Traffic Centre and Rivière des Gallets via the Airport
- Bus 198 operates daily every 15 minutes between Port Louis Victoria Square Bus Station and Mahebourg Bus Station via the Airport
