Pahalgam, located in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, is some 90 odd kilometers away from Srinagar Airport. It is, what one can call, a perfect hill-town; replete with breath-taking natural landscapes but comparatively less congested than other more popular tourist attractions of J&K.
It is a very good idea to plan properly for Pahalgam and stay a couple of days there, just to relax, unwind, and rejuvenate oneself from the monotony of daily lives. An added plus is the people there, who are very friendly and helpful, and will treat tourists as their personal guests truly reflecting the spirit of “Atithi Devo Bhava”!
