Unique space with lovely experience living out the family

Beautiful architecture offering a unique private space intertwined with a charming experience living with the family. They were so sweet, thoughtful and genuine. I stayed in 3 places in Ubud, and this was my favorite.

Only thing to know is the shower is a hand-held wand which mounts rather low. Tall travelers may not like. I am short and was fine.

Wonderful stay

Lovely place to stay. Beautiful place, beautiful spacious clean rooms, friendly and kind hosts. In the centre of Ubud yet in a quiet place near the rice fields. Great location, walkable to everything central. Nice fresh breakfast. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you again Wayan and Made!

A perfect places to rest and relax.

The location was amazing close to restaurants, atm, convenience stores and taxi services. It is a perfect places to rest and relax. I love the design of the building, its feel that you are staying in en balineses temple. The breakfast was really good.

The staff was a bit serious, which I was surprised because most of the people in ubud were really friendly.

Close to main streets of Ubud

I booked X2 rooms with air conditioning. Upon arrival there was only 1 room with air conditioning available.I have been told that the previous guests have decided to extend their stay for 1 night and the alternative option for me is to take the room with fan only because the owner forgot that I had booked 2 rooms with air conditioning.Not a great start to our holiday! This place serves a great breakfasts.Better communication between staff and guests and a personal apology from the owner would have been greatly appreciated .

We loved it. You will too!

This is a little hidden gem in Ubud. We loved our stay. The area is excellent (with the rice fields right in the center) and the family was just lovely. It was such a treat to be served a traditional breakfast every morning. Fantastic. We fully recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if we visited Ubud another time. We had some difficulty contacting them through Booking.com before our stay but we finally found their phone number and were able to communicate via WhatsApp.

This is not really a negative, but more of a tiny inconvenience. While the architecture is gorgeous, everything is quite high - the bed and the bathroom sink. I was able to manage it just fine, but it may be hard for someone elderly or with mobility issues.
