The short trek of 9 km, takes you at an elevation of 1,894 m offering the surreal view of the Western Ghats. Then, visit the Kaleshwara Devi temple and Kalasa pond. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Kalasa pond is a sacred Hindu pond. Back to hotel.
Day 2- Visit the Kudremukh national park, with the exquisite beauty of flora of the Western Ghats, national park homes a variety of wildlife. Also, visit the Hanuman Gundi falls located inside the forest area of Kudremukh National Park.

- This area is infamous for the leeches present here. It might be a good idea to carry some salt with you to fend off leeches. Also, please carry umbrellas and raincoats during the rainy season. In c (Read More)ase you are planning to trek, do carry some sweatshirt or warm clothes along, as it might be a little breezy out there.
