Rani ka Vav Festival

Rani ka Vav translates into "the Queen's stepwell". The Rani Ki Vav festival is proposed to be held in the month of December or January every year. The major attractions of the festival are-

Patan can be accessed via roadways, railways and airways. The Sardar Vallabhbhai International  Airport in Ahmedabad is the nearest airport. Located about 130 km away, a 2.5 to 3-hour drive would cover this distance.

Patan hosts a railway station of its own. Situated in the Chamundi Society area, the Patan Railway Station is approximately 2 km from the city centre and can be reached with a 20-minute walk. 

Patan also houses several bus stations, and can be easily reached through a bus ride. Two prominent bus stops are the ones at Bhagawathi Nagar and Krishna Nagar.

Ahmedabad has the nearest airport, around 100 km away. There are daily flights connecting Delhi to Ahmedabad provided by all the major airlines like indigo, SpiceJet, Air India with fares starting from 1650 rupees. Patan is around 100 km from Ahmedabad and is connected via roads and railways.
