Gorgeous Beaches in Malvan

Vengurla Malvan Beach, popularly known as Malvan Beach, is one of the top places to visit in Malvan. The beautiful beach offers a serene atmosphere with hills covered with palm, coconut, cashew and mango trees surrounding a part of the long stretch of the golden shoreline. This beach in Malvan has also witnessed several historic events including attacks in the 19th century and is considered a site of historic importance in the country.

Devbagh Beach is one of the commercial beaches in Malvan. Along with the long stretch of golden seashore, it is a famous hub for water sports like kayaking, jet skiing, bumper and banana rides. The beach is also famous for the Sea Eagles that thrive in the region in large numbers and for dolphin boat rides to spot the mammal in the deep blue sea.

Kolamb Beach is one of the most secluded beaches in Malvan. Boasting picturesque beauty and mesmerising surroundings, it has a creek at one end. With very little crowd or tourists, the beach is an ideal place to spend some moments of solitude.

Chivla Beach is one of the smaller beaches in Malvan stretching only to an area of 1.5 kms. Popular for its beautiful golden setting sun and clear indigo waters, it offers perfect serenity and tranquility. Mostly occupied the fisherfolks of the adjoining villages, Chivla Beach is one of the most unpolluted beaches of Tarkarli.

Achara Beach is a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the region. The attraction is known for its picturesque location with a hill on one side that has a lighthouse to direct the seafarers, a long stretch of smooth golden sand and clean waters of the Arabian sea. The beach is also famous for water sports and is one of the few beaches in India where one can spot some friendly dolphins.

Located around 7 km from Malvan, Tarkarli Beach is situated at the confluence of the Karli River and the Arabian Sea. One of the most alluring things about Tarkarli Beach is its pristine natural beauty, which has a unique charm of its own. This beach in Malvan has powdery white sand and is one of the few stretches where you can see right through crystal clear waters for a distance of almost 20 feet.

Situated 25 km north of Malvan, Tondavali Beach is a picturesque beach enveloped in green tree thickets. Laced with much serenity, tranquillity and calm, the beach hardly has any tourist activity. It is one of the most peaceful beaches in Malvan, untouched by commercialization.

Wairy Ubhatwadi Beach has a splendid view of the Sindhudurga Fort that has sustained the tests of time and stands strong in the middle of the Arabian sea despite the unpredictable nature of the waves. The attraction has a beautiful golden shoreline with lots of coconut trees lining it on one side and the Arabian sea on the other and provides for a tranquil escape for beach lovers.

Arse Mahal Beach is a relatively tiny beach in Malvan which is in continuity or in the extension of Chivla Beach. The major attractions of the beach are a petrol centre and a Navy detachment.
