Also known as the Hanging Bridge, Plov Thmey swing bridge is a serene attraction located in Battambang. The small bridge connects two beautiful villages in the area and was built as a means of getting across the river. Due to high river water levels, the bridge is constructed on a much larger height, offering breathtaking views of the river and the surrounding picturesque green landscapes. Regularly used by locals for commuting, the start of the bridge has an excellent monastery to visit.
Situated at the infamous Tonle Sap lake in Cambodia, the floating villages are a group of four main villages called Chong Khneas, Kampong Phluk, Mechrey and Kampong Khleang. These villages have a school, church, cemetery, garden, plenty of houses and other structures that are constructed perfectly on stilts and sway as the water does, all 8 feet above water.
