Located in the Dumka district of Jharkhand on the Deoghar-Dumka state highway, Basukinath is a popular place of worship for Hindus. The most famous attraction at Basukinath is undoubtedly the Basukinath Temple, and lakhs of pilgrims visit the temple each year from all parts of the country to worship Lord Shiva, who is the presiding deity. The crowd at magnificent the temple drastically increases in the month of Shravan, when not only local and national tourists but also international visitors visit.

Located on the Parasnath Hill, the highest mountain in the state of Jharkhand, in an inland part of rural east India, of the Giridih district of Jharkhand, Shikharji is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for Jains. It is believed that here is where twenty of the twenty-four Jain Tirthankaras had attained moksha (in other words, freedom from the cycle of rebirth), along with several other monks which makes it one of the most important and holy sites for Jain Tirthas. Shikharji rises to a height of 1,350 m thus making it the highest mountain in the state.

Located in the Chhota Nagpur plateau, 93 Km away from Ranchi, Hazaribagh is a beautiful place with dense forests and natural formations including rock formations and lakes. Trikut Pahar (Trikut Hill) near Deoghar has three peaks, the highest of which is 2470 ft from the sea level. At the top, there is the famous Trikutachal Mahadeva Temple and the hermitage of sage Dayananda. Other than being a pilgrimage spot, it's also a natural retreat. To reach the peak, there's a ropeway.
