The Little Mermaid Statue sitting on the shore of “Langelinie” cruise harbour in the old port district of Nyhavn is the smallest yet the most beautiful attraction in the city. Made with bronze depicting a mermaid becoming human, Edvard Eriksen designed this 4.1 ft tall statue.
The Gefion Fountain is a big fountain in Copenhagen, Denmark, by the harbor front. It's situated in the Nordre Toldbod area, close to Kastellet and just south of Langelinie. The fountain was a gift to Copenhagen from the Carlsberg Foundation for the brewery's 50th anniversary. Originally meant for the city hall square, it ended up being placed near Øresund in its current location near Kastellet.
