The temple houses the Goddess Kshanambika and devotees visit this temple with the belief that the Devi will grant them their wishes as they approach her. The idol in the temple is said to have been installed by Sri Adi Shankaracharya. The most interesting part about this temple is the Yantra Chakra that is carved in the front of the idol. The Yantra Chakra is made of 9 triangles, 4 facing upwards and the remaining 5 facing downwards depicting power. This 1200-year-old temple is known for having 1.5 lakh diyas lit in the temple on an occasion as an offering to the Devi.
The Narasimhaswamy temple is a Hindu temple located in Srirangapatna. Often overlooked by tourists, this temple is said to be of the most ancient temples known for having been made only from stone. The temple compound includes a green lawn for devotees and tourists. Only one priest performs the necessary rituals daily.
The Gangadhareshwara Temple is located in the Srirangapatna district of Karnataka. Although the temple is one of the oldest, it is often overlooked by tourists and devotees.
