Villa was really disappointing. On first appearance, it seemed OK. However, on closer inspection, we found various issues. The sliding patio doors were broken, which was a big safety issue for us. Our children didn't feel safe, and my husband ended up sleeping in their room. The villa needs a lot of TLC. There was mould all over the parasol, there were tiles missing from the pool, the bath taps were rusted and not properly fixed onto the bath, the air con leaked and there was water running down the wall which went all over our food, there was a broken stair and all of the planters around the villa were full of weeds. The villa is certainly not luxurious. I read previous guests' reviews and decided to overlook the negative ones and went there hoping the complaints were unfounded, but unfortunately, they weren't. We decided to leave the villa and moved to a hotel. We messaged the contact person explaining that we were going to leave as ultimately our children felt unsafe. They replied, saying that they could have provided cots and pool fences on request. As we were trying to enjoy our holiday, we didn't want to get into a back and forth conversation, but I think it's important to share feedback with the owners.

On the booking page, it states "Breakfast AUD 0 (optional)" therefore I assumed breakfast is included and I booked for 3 nights. However, when we actually got there the host says no breakfast at all. The advertising is deliberately misleading. I wouldn't have booked it if I knew breakfast is not included as there are many properties that offer free breakfast at a similar price. When I questioned about this on the first day, the host gave no explanation, just simply answered "no breakfast is included, sorry mate." During the 3-night stay, no room services were provided, no change of towels, no bed making, and even no rubbish collection. And we suffered from a power outage at midnight that all aircon stopped working. The electricity ran out of credit and we had to contact the host in the morning and input the passcode to top up the meter credit. No doors could be properly closed, and doors and frames including bedroom slide doors on the 2nd-floor and living room slide doors were deformed possibly due to humid weather and lack of maintenance. The bathroom on the 2nd floor had no glassed window, it only had a flyscreen. When I was using the toilet it was raining and I couldn't do anything about it but take a butt cold shower. Hundreds of chickens and roosters were raised behind this property. That would've been a fantastic morning call service if I planned to wake up at 4:30 am. However, that wasn't part of my plan, for all 3 nights.
