Great double room, not so great shared room; for 2 or 4 travelers I reccomend sharing 1 or 2 double rooms instead of boo

We were a big group and stayed in various rooms: the private double room was amazing, especially for the price. Super clean, very nice furniture, everything provided (hairdryer, towels, toiletries etc.). The bathroom was really nice, except there was occasionally no warm water. Room was cleaned every single day, making sure to leave window open to ventilate, there was a safe deposit box in room, AC and everything was great. It was cheaper than I would expect for such a nice room. Very cute dog:) and super nice rooftop terrace, we were able to access it at night and relax there as this is not possible in shared room.

- shared room very stuffy, impossible to ventilate - shared bathroom always soaked and smelling like bleach - not very good WiFi - there was supposed to be a bar with live music at the terrace which never happened - breakfast is not amazing - we booked the 10 bed shared room to use as a private room for our group, however staff would still access it without even knocking - weird soggy towels on the stairs, smell really bad - nowhere to dry your clothes - no towels provided in shared room - not very easy to change in shared bathroom as it is completely wet so there were strangers changing in the middle of the shared room

Exceptional

Very nice hostel to stay in Istanbul. I enjoyed staying there and the first reason is people. Staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my bed and breakfast is delicious. The price is really good.I wish I could remember the names, but the woman who makes breakfast and can speak English a little and also a girl at the reception - THANK YOU for good attitude towards your guests
