Great location and welcoming staff.

Nice location in Chiang Mai's old city, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Cool courtyard to relax and have breakfast. The room was large and had everything we needed. Would recommend

Best place to be for a very good price.

When I arrived the second time the owner called my name and just said: "welcome home." And it felt exactly like that. Everywhere there are great pictures on the wall and even the staircase is beautifully decorated. The bed was wonderful just like the staff. The inside garden gives you privacy and the location is suberb. Really one I would recommend.

Great location, the guesthouse was clean and the staff were friendly.

The bathroom was badly designed so if you had a shower, the whole bathroom including the toilet would be soaked for a few hours.

The guesthouse is situated in the best location of Chiang Mai, the staff are friendly and attentive.

The guesthouse was located right in the middle of everything, so anywhere worth taking a look at was only a short walk away in various directions. Chiang Mai Old Town is sort of split up into 4 different sections, and the section of which this guesthouse was located is the best area to stay in. I had gone to some of the other areas but there wasn't the concentration of eateries, night life, markets etc. I would definitely stay in this section of Chiang Mai again. The room was fine, it had a large bed, tv, airconditioner, fan, table and chairs, fridge, somewhere to hang clothes, ensuite bathroom. The guesthouse provided a reception, a beautiful seating area, a bar. Reception included being able to book tours plus a laundry service. There is also a cloak room where luggage can be left once checking out if you don't need to leave the city straight away. The owners are very friendly and are eager to help wherever they can. I didn't book any tours, at the time I was there I had an injury to my foot and most of the tours would require more walking than I would have been able to do, so I can't comment on them. Free water fills are available at the bar area. I didnt use the tv as the hdmi attachment wouldn't recognise my external hard drive (too modern for it) so I watched shows attaching my hard drive to my laptop. There is no safe in the room. The owner said all items left in rooms would however be safe, and they all were for the length of my stay.

On entry to the guesthouse there is a cobbled stone pathway which isn't suitcase friendly, or wheelchair friendly (not that I have one, just something notable). When you enter head to the right, it is the shortest distance on the cobbled path to a more suitcase friendly pathway towards reception. I had paid for a booking for an airconditioned room, and although the room did have airconditioning, on arrival the owner provided a long speel about how previous guests would abuse the airconditioning, the temperatures that were being set, or being left on when they would go out etc. and how expensive the bills were, and that airconditioning is not even really needed as the fan is sufficient. I felt like I would become one of those guests if I were to even use the airconditioning, so I didn't use it, just used the fan, and made a point to the owner that I wasn't using the airconditioning. I also paid for a booking that included a bath. There was no bath in my ensuite. I don't know if any of the rooms have a bath and this was just an error on the booking site or I was not given the room I asked for. I had chosen to have a bath on my booking because the guesthouse doesnt have a pool. It does have a shower which is right in front of the toilet, and the drainage is very slow, causing water to build up quickly under foot, so showers are hurried and short, in order to not flood the place. I wouldnt have minded the lack of bath if the shower space was a bit less of a hassle. Toilet paper is provided for the toilet, there is also a separate water spray for toilet use. The toilet paper is really thin and any attempt to try and dry yourself off after using the water spray just leaves bits of toilet paper stuck to you. I eventually bought some wet wipes from the 7/11 to use after the water spray to just ensure everything was clean. There is a bin in the toilet, I had to move it out of the bathroom when using the shower.
