Fantastic location, friendly staff, but the dirty furniture and smoky bed grossed me out.

The location is perfect. Its right in the mix for pretty much anything retail or food-related that you can think of. My favorite part was that it was directly across the street from Mitsuwa and a lot of Asian food places. The bathroom was also very pretty. The pool was heated and pretty at night when they turned the colorful lights on. Front desk staff was attentive and friendly.

The entire room smelled like smoke. The smoke smell was deep in the mattress. We werent given a duvet or anything, just two sheets and a thin blanket. We pulled out the bed from the couch and there were dark brown stains on the pull out mattress and rust along the metal parts. It was also weird that there was no overhead, ceiling light; When returning to the room after leaving for the day, we would have to turn on two floor lamps, the desk lamp, and the two lamps attached to the bed frame in order for the room to be lit, but it still wasnt bright enough.

One night stay in Santa Clara - affordable and clean.

The room was clean and comfortable. Nice sheets. It was nice to have the bar/food available. Sat outside by the pool with complimentary coffee in the morning, which was nice.

Hotel seemed dated and needs updating. Nothing walking distance to hotel. Off a main road. Chairs outside did not have cushions on them, they were stacked up.

Disappointing

good location, old hotel, not-so-good staff. Not really a 4-star hotel.

Location, free parking, Breakfast (food and service) from Maria.

Hotel facilities are poor, rooms amenities are poor (AC is very noisy, shower is very old and pressure is low). Besides Ahmed, all other team members at reception were completely not professional and even rude, specifically Hesus. Communication and reservation handling was poor - even though I notified the hotel TWICE about late checkin, the hotel regarded it as a "no show", charged me "noshow fee" and almost cancelled my reservation. When I brought this up to the staff, Hesus's answer was "I don't have anything to do, I only check people in". Only Ahmed fixed everything on the following day. Last day and checkout was awful - Ahmed promised me late check out, but the key's stopped working. Upon going to the front desk to fix, it wasn't really fixed and I had to head down three times to try and fix. Eventually, after alot of argument and frustration, the front desk agreed to send a housekeeping representative to open the door (at first she refused) but not without mentioning "I should ask you for ID and I'm doing you a favor" (needles to mention my ID was LOCKED inside the room). Eventually I really wanted just to leave the hotel, this if the first time ever that I've had this feeling.
