    The Alpenhotel Tauernstüberl, in the south part of Zell am See, is located 600 metres from the Areitbahn Cable Car. It offers free WiFi and parking spaces for both cars and motorbikes. In summer, guests can enjoy the breakfast on the sun terrace. The on-site restaurant offers homemade products and delicious regional specialities. Newly opened in October 2017 is the sauna area at the hotel. The Alpenhotel Tauernstüberl is only a 3-minute walk from the golf course (25% discount on green fee). Free bicycles are provided at the hotel. The Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card is included from 15 May until 15 October, offering many discounts in the area.

    It was a very pleasant stay. My only regret was that it was so short, as I had two events scheduled
    All very good, excellent! Superb breakfast with plenty of alternative options. Very appetizing scrambled eggs. The location is excellent! Very close and accessible to Zell am see and Kaprun. Excellent connection with the provision of free tickets for the bus and cable car, in order to promote customer mobility.
    Nothing to point out negative!

    Everything about the hotel was great It has bus stop directly Infront of the hotel with 10 min ride to most of all attraction and city center The staff was amazing ! Breakfast was also great and has a lot of variety And we got the summercard when we arrived

    The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good.
    The main room was in higher place and the second room was under the stairs which consists of a sofa bed! Our booking was for two bedrooms while we got a place for maximum of four people.

    An excellent host, but hotel is on a noisy main road to Kaprun.
    Although we were slightly late arriving (due to mechanical problems with our vehicle) the host (a Steve Martin lookalike) arranged for the kitchen to stay open a little later than normal. He was also very helpful in trying to find a mechanic to investigate our suspension problem- although it turned there was nobody local who could/would help.
    Our room faced onto the main road to Kaprun, and there was a stream of traffic all night long and many heavy vehicles. It would be worth finding out which side of the building is your room, before committing to a stay here.

    Nice place shame about the road.
    Big roadside hotel. Biker and scooter friendly. Dark room but warm. Double bed (two singles pushed together) with double fitted sheet and two good single duvets. Bedside cabinets with lighting over. Everywhere clean. Toilet & shower room is a good size with an OK sized shower cubicle. Shower is good with plenty of hot water. Nice towels and shower gel and hand soap. Wardrobe space, a day bed, table, a sofa and two chairs. Carpeted. Patio door to shared terrace. Noisy even at the back of the hotel. Table and chairs and smokers next door. View obscured by bushes. Restaurant and bar and breakfast and dinner both good. Pleasant, helpful English speaking hosts. Friendly and relaxed. WIFI good.

    Lovely family run hotel who went out of their way to please!
    exceptionally clean and lovely home cooked food
    cant really find a fault - not the most modern for those who may want that but it felt Austrian and it was comfortable

    Great place to enjoy your holiday!
    It is a very nice hotel with a very friendly personnel, great service and pleasant atmosphere. It has a very convenient location with 2 bus stops nearby which allows you to reach easily any ski lifts both in Zell-am See and Kaprun. We had a gorgeous view from the balcony to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Breakfasts and dinners are very tasteful and abundant. The menu is so varied that during our 7-day stay not a single dish was repeated! A light snack served at 16:00 was a pleasant unexpected surprise. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a very pleasant place to enjoy your stay in the Alps.
