beautiful garden and lovely host

A perfect place for rest after a long flight, 15 mins from airport. The host is so helpful, and a beautiful garden full of fruit trees and plants. Really a nice touch of Sri Lanka with nature and lovely people.

Good for a night close to the airport

Large space with nice patio and garden. Birdsong in the morning. Very friendly, willing and helpful owner. Nice to have a kettle and cups but take your own tea bags/coffee as none provided in the room. Quite close to the airport so convenient for a one night stay for late arrival or early departure (the owner was willing to stay up late to greet us on arrival). I think you'd need to prearrange the transfer as the place is a little hard to find (we had a driver/guide for our trip but otherwise the owner could probably organise this for you).

Bathroom small with shower very close to the toilet and no shower tray so water goes all over the floor. Location good for airport but otherwise difficult without transport. Dinner options limited unless you go to the strip of tourist restaurants 7km away! (When we were leaving the owner said they could have cooked us a Sri Lankan meal which we would have preferred).

Great find close to airport

Lovely quiet location, nothing too much trouble for the owner, so kind and helpful

Only problem for me, had to rely on tuktuk as I am unable to walk very far, but for a healthy person restraints and shops are in walking distance, under 2 kilometres away
