Lovely unique stay in secluded part of Ella

A very private secluded location just outside of Ella. Very cool and lovely place to relax. Also great food from the chef

The pillows smelled as though they needed a wash. Also payment was in cash only.

We loved the space that our cottage offered us apart from the room itself. It was a lot of open space that allowed us to feel relaxed and be on our own The owner gave us some fantastic recommendations as well for the places to check in Ella, and the staff is absolutely lovely and amazing. They take care of you with all your requests and try to make you super comfortable

Would just like them to rather share more pictures of their cottages on website/ insta page so the guests would know better how amazing this property is

The most beautiful property in the most amazing setting very close to the centre of ella. The staff couldn't do enough for you and our cookery lesson was incredible. Highly recommended this place to anyone. Thank you Ishanke for letting us stay

Very friendly and helpful staff. The sorounding environment was very nice. The breakfast was also very good.

However, the bed was a bit cramped and the room was dark and damp. Since non of the windows had any kind of nets you couldn't really open them without having insects all over the room. Also the food were limited and very expensive. I think with this price you can get nicer options.

Very good

Really amazing lodge in an beautiful spot. Staff are wonderful, especially the chef. A true nature resort close to Ella train station. The breakfast is amazing and gets cooked right on your terrace. We also had a dinner, which was delicious. We did not meet the owner but had a really good communication with him. They were also very nice to let us stay with a 3rd child and even prepared an additional bed for him. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it when taking into account some minor points (mentioned below).

1) be aware that they only accept cash or direct transfers - this resulted for us in quite some additional fees, so either bring enough cash or keep that in mind. 2) the rooms on the upper level to the one on lower level are only connected via the stairs outside, which feels like to separate apartments. No big deal but something to keep in mind when your plan is to have your kids stay in one of the rooms on their own. 3) room downstairs had a damp smell, probably because of the recent rains 4) the manager who is on site, speaks barely any english, but the communication with owner via WhatsApp was very easy
