The way to the lodge is difficult and narrow, but the views are worth visiting.
If they can provide kettle and coffee in the room, that would be awesome.

Dont call yourself eco resort for lacking inand charge far to high price for it
Location is a hillside jungle resort - great nature experience with water flowing noise in the background and an unbelievable nature noise in the night.
No walkways, uneven stairs and bad lighting at night. Nothing for walking disabled or elderly. No signboards. Very non standard electrical wiring and installations (taped wires close to pool etc). Molded bathroom equipment. Naphtalin moth powder smell everywhere - not healthy and not ecological. Internet barely existing, mobile phone reach limited (not that same is non acceptable for an eco resort if you choose to select it- but it is not highlighted upfront). Very friendly staff, but very shy and not fully educated or understanding English.Food selection traditional,but limited. Buffet ran out of food and plates several times. Couldnt get the room we booked (villa with pool) on the first night as under repair and had to shift room again the second day. All understood, but reduced the stay to a lot of discussion. Manager promised to compensate but couldnt keep the promise. At the end we ended up with an over promised underdelivered and unreasonable priced experience. A lot of room for improvement

Natural wonder being immersed in nature!
The Arsulana Lodge was far beyond our expectations. The staff were so friendly and by the end of our visit felt like family. The views from our villa were incredible - We had not visited Sri Lanka before and being immersed in the jungle, surrounded by nature was just what we were after. There were further natural wonders to explore near the villa which we traveled to by tuc tuc. We feel blessed having visited such a natural wonder and 100% intend to visit again.

The place is gorgeous!! Big rooms furnished with great taste, fully immersed in nature.
Super comfy bed with clean sheets, big and clean bathroom, awesome hot shower.
The owner was so kind to upgrade me to an even better room for the first two nights because there was availability. He was always there to assist me, arranged the transfer to Adam's peak and also an AMAZING massage.
Breakfast is average but dinner is really good, there must be a proper chef in the kitchen!
If you want to relax, just come here (and do not try to get out until the end of your stay because it's a nightmare: don't come here if you want to move around)

You are in the jungle, to reach the property you have to travel 40 minutes on a wasted road. Since you cannot do otherwise, it seems a little bit like a robbery to ask 3000 rupees for the pickup from and to the outside world.
From a luxury place like this one you would expect to being able to both pay with credit card and have your laundry done. But it is not so, a really pity!

Peaceful pearl of the mountains
Quite, peaceful atmosphere with waterfalls nearby. We heard this amazing sound of running water all the time.
Unique modern design of the hotel in total, including rooms interior and exterior. Also lounge zone and dining rooms are stunning.
Everything was clean,
Delicious food, excellent breakfast.
Stuff was extra kind and helpful. We really enjoyed spending time with Dushan (Hotel manager)
You should be aware of leeches around the wet grass areas. (Especially at night)
Wifi connection should be better

Amazing location, remote, surrounded by nature and sound of water streams.
I had a great time during the 2h massage.
Breakfast could be improved, especially the egg cooking and banana pancakes

Nice property
The property is beautiful and very unique. The staff is happy to accommodate any special requirement in the kitchen and we had delicious rice and curry.
Arsulana is a beautiful property and it would add so much value if the staff would be more knowledgeable about activities and organisation. Everything is a bit approximate and we lost a lot of time due to lack of precision in travel distances etc. We ended up organizing most of transportation for activities ourselves

This isn't just a stay in an amazing hotel, it's a totally unique experience. It allows you to experience the depths of the jungle in exquisite comfort a true one-off luxury. Great service, very tasty food, clean,, comofrtable...unforgettable.
They don't serve alcohol :) but they resolved that as quickly as they could given the distance to local shops!
