We booked to celebrate my 75th birthday and Christmas into superior apartment!! INSTEAD!!! We checked into a very old, dirty, no walk into (as promised by Booking.com) shower (shower in bad condition), most of the equipment too old and showing serious corrosion. Stove, fridge ,broken ironing board, etc. (photos was attached and sent to Aruba Sands Resort) dated sometime in 1960!!! The cleaning standard was very, very poor ! (photos was attached in our complaint letter to Aruba Sands Resort ) We can continue... If this is SUPERIOR apartment, we would hate to stay in an inferior apartment! We must make clear that we expect a full refund! On the 24th December we would have moved, but we couldn't contact your office as there was no one in the afternoon. My husband is 83 years old and we came to celebrate my 75th birthday on 24th December! What an awful, frustrating day we had! Full of stress! We didn't unpack our suitcase! The next morning we booked a taxi and left this terrible apartment! We even didn't know where to go! No offerd different apartment no apologies! Nothing! But promise to pay us ful refund! ( We were told by reception person and we promised to keep our letter and photos/evidence until we get refund!) It is awful to be in a such stressful situation! If you're happy to have a place only to sleep and shower, regardless of the rest, this is the place!

WiFi free and fast connection. Good shower. Location: perfect for beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. Free undercover parking. Pool with jacuzzi in a good warm temperature. Harrison was very diligent and changed my apartment as soon as I arrived and I complained about the dirt and dead cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom. He also granted us a noon check-out.

Cleanliness could be better. Comfort of sofa and bed could also be better. Kitchen utensils (a little old and a bunch of sets of plates, cutlery and glasses). The view was awful from my unit.

Loved our stay at Aruba Sands

We loved our entire stay!! Aruba Sands surpassed all expectations and Broadbeach is such a beautiful relaxing place. The staff were so friendly and nothing was a problem. The units are privately owned and ours had been renovated beautifully. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer all in as new condition. Being a small resort we basically had the pool and spa to ourselves. They are both heated to the perfect temperature. There is a large BBQ area by the pool as well. Aruba Sands was the perfect place for us and I'll definitely book there again. Bonus, you get a carpark space under the resort!! Everything is within easy walking and the surf club accommodates gluten and dairy free and is only about a 3-4 minute walk away. The Oasis shopping centre is about the same distance and has a woolworths so you can easily stroll down and get any groceries. We were absolutely thrilled with everything!!! After booking it for such a bargain I was quite worried but there was no need, it was clean, tidy and well run. As I'd read in other reviews there are a few places using the name 'Aruba' so make sure you book the Aruba Sands resort and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
