Well worth a visit when passing through!
Great old hotel, arrived during a storm which closed the A9 and left us stranded but the reception staff did their upmost to get us into the hotel for the night even although they were full, after they received a cancellation we were able to stay which was much appreciated, they even opened the restaurant and bar for everyone to get fed and a few drinks before carrying on their journeys the following day, Scottish hospitality at its best!

The hotel was faced with a huge, unexpected influx of guests owing to the closing of the A9 road. The power was disconnected by storms. The staff coped with good humour and courtesy. I was very glad to obtain accommodation at short notice.

Handy location for wedding at Blair Castle
Lovely location Very helpful, friendly staff Cosy bar Lovely seating area with fire Decorated well for Christmas
Unfortunately had to return meal of macaroni cheese which was replaced with another meal, which was lovely. Some items not available for breakfast. Rooms dated, bed very uncomfortable. Flush on toilet stayed down and you had to pull it up to use, hitting hand on cistern doing so. Shower door leaked water on the floor.

Run down. Small rooms. Horrible beds. Breakfast only till 9.30 when the majority of people staying will be at weddings at the Castle.
