Location was excellent; all facilities close by; well connected with transport services

An art hotel; the bathroom was rather "artistic"; shower curtains instead of a two way swinging door would be more functional

Its a lovely hotel in a gorgeous city with the friendliest people.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, scenic pool, and good location.

Very minor grumbles! Shame the pool wasn't open earlier and closed later. Would have been nice to have a cinnamon bun for breakfast!

What an amazing hotel! Perfect location. Spacious, modern, comfortable, and spotless room and bathroom. Breakfast was incredible and the staff were kind, open, and very helpful. We loved Gteborg and will be back.and of course plan on staying at Avalon Hotel.

Large spacious rooms, beautiful lobby.

The price is a huge downside. The layout of the breakfast hall makes it feel very crowded even though there aren't many people (the seating is too close to the buffet) .
