We are a 10 minute walk from Princess Street and Edinburgh Old Town and close to Kings Theatre and a range of restaurants. The car park is suitable for cars or standard and large commercial vans. Also, secure parking for motorbikes. Parking is guaranteed and does not need to be booked in advance. The car park is securely locked at night and monitored by CCTV. In the evening we offer free Scottish musical entertainment with the owner singing traditional Scottish songs accompanied by videos of Scotland's beautifully scenery. The Averon City Centre Guest House is just a 10-minute walk from Edinburgh Castle. Edinburgh International Conference Centre is within a 5-minute walk. Bus tours to Loch Ness or Loch Lomond can be arranged at the guest house, they leave every morning after breakfast.

Very nice place

This guesthouse is not very far away from the city centre and there are some bars and shops nearby. The room was huge and very clean. Same with the bathroom. We had included breakfast which was simple but nice and enough. Also, the staff was friendly and the owner made a mini concert every night in the breakfast room where he played scottish songs with his guitar.

Disappointing

Staff were kind helpful and chatty I personally enjoyed every single conversation.

Very old property and decoration. There was a hair on my pillow. We heard every single step of upstairs guests, even their normal conversations. Breakfast was really poor. We stayed 2 nights, to be honest I couldnt sleep 2 nights.
