Location, nice rooms, very nice main building full of History.

First time visit & we'd happily return

Large classically furnished rooms with windows that open. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food for breakfast had a good mix of thai and western options. The lunch choices by the pool were tasty and good value. The history in this place and location on the beach makes it a great choice for couples. It's also 5min walk from Market Village. We had a hire car and there was ample parking on-site.

No ceiling fan (not a fan of continuous air conditioning).

pleasant, quiet and lovely views

location was good - it was beachfront and Hua Hin lends itself to the mood and appreciation. Staff are lovely, friendly, hospitable and keen to help. The facilities offered are well-maintained - the lawn, the corridors, the recreational spots and the swimming pools.

The welcome needs to be better handled. I followed what was described as a room with a garden view. But the 'garden' had no landscape and was sandy turf with hardly any plants. When I said i was not happy with the garden view as it was no garden, the staff's immediate reaction was to say that is what i had chosen and had to pay more for a room with a sea view. I asked how much. She did not answer but instead kindly pottered about to find me a room on the third floor ( knowing that I look older and am recovering from a knee surgery) with a view to green garden. But to be fair to her, I said nothing and accepted the room with a garden for the 5N that I was there. But I did tell her that it cannot be described a garden view if there is no garden and that is what I was upset by. And all it needed was to get a landscaper to plant some beautiful plants as they already had that. It was not a good beginning and jarred for a while. But she made up as did the other staff when I got used to the lovely building and the quietness that I enjoyed very much. There was some exceptional staff. thank you
