    Lovely sea view but facilities need a bit of improvement
    Location was fab with a sea view. There was parking which is great as its very limited on the area.
    The shower was rubbish, just a drizzle of water came out.

    Clean and smart, we had a lovely large room with a sea view. Great location with off road parking, staff very friendly. The Hotel was lovely and warm and not too noisy so was easy to have a good night's sleep.
    Bar is shut for 10pm and due to the layout of the hotel there is nowhere to sit and relax once they have locked up the bar. Our car was clipped on the carpark which I was told would be looked into but wasn't. Was told by a member of staff it happens all the time so if you value your car maybe find somewhere else to park it. A option of a cooked breakfast would have been nice, the fruit juice and muffin left in the room every day was just about adequate.

    Wonderful stay in beautiful Babbacombe at the lovely Royal Hotel!
    Beautiful location, traditional and very friendly
    Only two little grumbles, water pressure in the shower, and they dont do a breakfast service (but so many close by places to get a great breakfast its not really a problem) Id still go again because of everything else was so good. Thank you for a great stay in babbacombe!

    Lovely, relaxing stay in The Royal which my daughter and I really enjoyed.
    Lovely view, very friendly efficient staff especially Andy who was exceptional despite suffering from the after effects of a nasty fall. The bedroom and bar area were very clean.
    The muffins and flapjacks are ok but very high in sugar as are most of the bottled drinks on offer for breakfastperhaps it would be good to provide the option of a continental breakfast. Bit surprised to note that the Ladies toilet downstairs was no where near the standard of the rest of the property, the floor was really grubby although the weather hadnt been wet.

    The Royal exceeded our expectations in every way, would highly recommend.
    Spacious room, nicely decorated, spotless. A view of the Downs and sea, and of the car park. Plenty of sweet treats in lieu of breakfast.
    Would have liked the option to have some fruit for breakfast.

    Great location with friendly staff.
    Great location, wonderful view, good size room. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
    Cooked breakfast would have been nice; but muffins, flapjack and juices were provided. Shower pressure could have been better, but it worked fine.
