Its got a great vibe in a great location but not very restful/relaxing.

Loved the location - in a quiet area with great bars surrounded by canals. Easy to get to the busy areas. The staff were very friendly & helpful & the bar area in the hotel was very relaxed and welcoming.

We booked the room with our own bathroom but were next to two communal bathrooms - these were cleaned every morning between 7 and 8am with no thought that people were sleeping nearby. Our TV didnt work and our toilet broke halfway through our stay (though it was quickly fixed when we let them know). Also the bed is two pushed together but with an annoying gap and the pillows are awful.

Fantastic!

The hotel at all is quite nice, the staff was very helpful. The location is great, you can move easily for tourism by walk or even public transport, and is not in a crowded spot. Weve been lucky to have a triple room (while we reserved double), so the room was reaaally spacious for us. Everything was fine at all. We got breakfast on the last day and it was delicious and well-served, really nice for its cost.

The location was great! Youre literally in the center. For that the price is great and the staff is awesome! Very nice, very helpful and if youre feeling lonely they are great talking partners! My girlfriend and I are super happy!

The stairs a little narrow, but its such a minor problem..

Good value for money very central

Its in a very nice neighborhood, very central and the decor is very interesting. Friendly staff. Beautiful canal view from the window.

There are no lifts in this property (typical old Dutch building), 4 floors with luggage in narrow stairs was not easy The room was very small and in especially the bathroom. They should at least put a floor squeegee to push the water after showers. Overall nothing abnormal for Europe but things to keep in mind.

Superb

Everything is exceptional except the stairs.

Hotel is good located in a nice area. Room is spacious, very clean and has everything you need for a short stay. Beds are comfortable and it was very quiet during the night. Stuff is very kind and helpful.

Stairs can really be the problem. Especially if you get the room on the last, 4th floor, like us. Luckily we had only backpacks with us, not sure if its even possible to take some bigger luggage upstairs.

I would definitely come back to backstage hotel!

Location was amazing. We did everything by walking and sometimes when distances were more than 20 minutos by walk we could take the tram which was 5 minute walk from the hotel! Everything was super clean! We thank the hotel staff for that! Also Mo was super friendly and nice! We were very grateful since we didnt know the language nor the city. Thanks again Mo!

The stairs towards the basement. It was almost impossible to get our luggage down to our room.
