Just go..! Enjoy.. life is more beautiful after Bae Abermaw

I stayed at Bae Abermaw Boutique B&B with my wife and we were absolutely delighted by the experience. The hotel is located in a spectacular coastal setting, with stunning views of the sea and the mountains. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away, and Snowdon is less than an hours drive away through beautiful National Parkland. Even if you don't want to explore more (which would be a crime if you are in the beautiful Wales, but on a rainy day can be excused) you could just stay and enjoy the beautiful view just like that or go for a stroll in the beach. The hotel itself is very charming and cosy, with a bar, a garden, and a lounge where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. The staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive, and they made us feel at home. They also gave us some great tips on what to do and see in the area. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a TV and an en suite bathroom with free toiletries. We had a room with a sea view, which was breathtaking. We could watch the sunrise and sunset over the water, and listen to the waves at night. It was very romantic and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, with a choice of continental or full welsh dishes (I have personally become a die hard fan of your pan cakes now! and can't wait to come back and experience them again). They also catered for special dietary requirements. The food was fresh and locally sourced, and the service was excellent. I also need to mention there was amble parking! We had a wonderful time at Bae Abermaw Boutique B&B and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Wales. It is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at, and we cant wait to go back.

The only think I dont like is probably its not closer to my home.. I wish the staff in here were my neighbours, the beach was behind my home!

Fabulous and VERY dog friendly!

Excellent location, walkable to the gorgeous beaches. Hotel was clean,and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Very dog friendly! Beautiful gardens with easy access from the hotel. There was no option for evening meal but tables and crockery available to eat your own takeaway. Breakfast options were amazing, and the breakfast lady was very lovely to ourselves and the dogs. My husband and his friend had to leave early one morning before breakfast started, but they were made sausage and bacon sandwiches to eat on the way. Really appreciated. Our room was spacious with an enormous comfortable bed, nobody wanted to get up! The bathroom was modern and very clean. Will definitely stay again. Thank you

If you have mobility problems the steps may make it difficult for access. Did not effect us but something to consider for other travellers. If you do not like dogs, or have children that are scared of dogs you may find it a bit overwhelming as dogs were treated as family too. Great for us though!

A nice place to stay in Barmouth.

We received a warm welcome from Gary who gave us some information about the hotel and showed us to our room. The room was spacious , clean and comfortable. The shower room was excellent. Breakfast was good , in a nice dining room with sea view.

We had only 1 small bedside table and the lighting of the room was basically all on or all off i,e it would be nice to have individual reading light either side of the bed. We noticed a few cracks in the small window panes which should be easy to replace.

Beautiful big country house, tastefully decorated, great bar, fantastic breakfast and excellent manager and staff.

Excellent place to stay while exploring beautiful Wales.

Lovely view from our spacious room 3. Excellent bathroom with great shower and bath and a sink each! Lovely staff. Excellent selection of fruit at breakfast and eggs tasted very fresh. You could have a selection of coffees which arrived nice and hot

Full Welsh and wide choices of all additional items. Genial Gary and his staff made a great team.

Roadworks outside hotel on blind bend didnt make the exit from car park easy as was inbetween their traffic lights.

Nice place great views.

The place was so laid back, Gary and the staff were great, breakfast first class.

Our bedroom was nice but the window leaked when it rained, could do with a shower curtain as when we used the shower it went on the tiled floor making it very slippery.
