Exceptional

Everything we wanted and more!

We really did have a perfect holiday. Communication was excellent and we loved the modern, clean comfortable facilities. There was even a thoughtful extra touch for my special/BIG birthday.

We hired a minibus as it would have been quite a walk to a bus stop or amenities - but taxis were also readily available and for a good price.

Really enjoyable first visit to Malta and would recommended a stay at Villa Sardinella

Villa Sardinella is in a lovely peaceful neighbourhood which made for a very relaxing break. The villa is spacious and has a lovely sunny pool area. Bed was really comfy with a lovely shower in the en-suite. We were close enough to the sea which was about a 20 minute walk, and just a little further to restaurants/coffee shop. The supermarket was about 15 minutes the other direction although uphill. Good shop with plenty of choice though. A couple of our group are gluten free and there was also a great selection for them at the shops. Communication with the villa was great before and at the end of our stay. The weather was fabulous for us and overall we had a wonderful stay :)

We did get a bit bitten badly late afternoon outside so I would advise bringing insect repellent!

Very poor

The property was functional. But the decor was tired and smaller than we had expected

Some of the kitchen pots were dirty and well past their date. The neighbours were extremely noisy. Playing music at top volume during the day and returning after a night out at 3am, vomiting in the front then whistling, shouting and laughing round their pool for over an hour. Awful experience. We left the next day after finding other accommodation. The hosts refused to refund us and said the neighbours had denied making any noise. Who would admit to making noise if asked?
