Great guesthouse in beautiful quiet surroundings

Such a great, quiet place with an amazingly kind host! Great for all guests enjoying the silence there and if desired the proximity to places with less silence. The beautiful, quiet beach is so close, the lovely garden is such a great place for the breakfast, a coffee, a book, etc.. The Sri Lankan breakfast there was the best I've got so far, even after one more week on Sri Lanka. It was a pleasure being your guest!

Some of the bathroom equipment was not the newest, but everything was perfectly clean.

Everything: Udayanga and his family are super friendly, kind and willing to help; the hotel is beautiful and clean, calm and with a direct access to the beach, where you can enjoy lying on their sun beds under a nice shelter. The room is fully equipped and the bed is comfortable. And their rice and curry is delicious!

Hospitality and willingness to help are the hallmarks of the people living on the island.

Some of the kindest people live in this hotel who provide the utmost care and comfort. Bandulas Beach House is an ideal place to live near the Hikkaduwa area. I WAS VERY lucky to have chosen this hotel for my very first visit to the island. My impressions remained the most positive and I would like to come again. I was a solo traveler and was provided with an excellent transfer from airport to hotel and back. At the hotel, I was greeted by pleasant smiling faces, a refreshing drink from king coconut, and a very beautiful well-groomed garden area, there are a lot of different relaxation zones, and a beautiful tropical garden with a wide variety of tropical animals. My room was clean and big enough for 1 person, with a very large and comfortable bed, with nice fresh linens, so I slept like a baby. The air conditioner also worked great to keep the room pleasantly cool. 50 meters from the hotel territory there is an amazing endless beach where you can rarely meet people, and if you are traveling in order to communicate with the Ocean, this is the most ideal place for a dialogue with nature. For the main Surf area in Hikkaduwa only 7 min by bike or tuk-tuk. In Hotel you also can rent a bike at a very good price. In my case, it turned out that I could not cope with a motorbike, so I am infinitely grateful to Udayanga - the main person who will take care of you and your comfort in this hotel, for taking me on a motorbike to a surf school every morning, and to the market for local fruits, also helped me get a PCR test before the flight and at a very good price buy excellent Ceylon tea, which we now drink with the whole family in my country. It is also the best place to taste seafood. I asked for a lobster and they brought it straight from the ocean, so it was the freshest and tastiest lobster ever. And also with fish. Udayanga's brother catches fish and lobsters right to your table, and the chef cooks beautifully, so you will never forget the taste of seafood.
