Overpriced hotel

Very large room with a great view. Great swimming pool. Plenty of areas to sunbathe quietly. Decent size balcony to room. Excellent maid service.

Shower in room only warm not hot. Room service not always available and patchy service. Very large hotel / resort with little signposts / directions to rooms, so very easy to get lost. Buffet restaurant chaotic. Entertainment provided in the evenings was very poor.

The location, the swimming pools and food.

That there wasn't a toilet brush in the room and the bathroom smelt very strong.

Lovely relaxing Christmas in the sun

Lovely sea view room,cleaned daily , we also had a lovely welcome bottle of sparkling,and the breakfast was very good. Christmas Gala dinner was very tasty

It was a little too busy for us at the evening buffet, food was ok though

Superb

We spent Christmas there, the hotel was almost fully booked, but it's pretty big, so we didn't meet lots of people. We had half board, for breakfast in buffet, there was something for everyone, the quality was the same in both restaurants. For dinner there is also a buffet with a wide range of food. Every day there is a special "corner" (Mexican, Italian, Spanish etc.), so there is always something special. I think that the servers (and maybe also slightly the food) were better in the Olivina buffet than in Nimbra (but the standard was really good in both of the restaurants). There was a huge range of warm and cold selections both for breakfast and dinner. We really liked the gym with lectures of all types for free. There was no problem with parking on the streets around the hotel, we easily found a place nearby at any time.

In the hotel smoking is permitted also on the balcony, but the door to the balcony wasn't tight, so the smoke came to our room. Even though December nights were quite warm, during breakfasts and dinners, doors were fully open in Nimbra restaurant and in the evenings, I felt a little bit cold. The minigolf in the hotel was quite disappointing, for the price I expected more than one room. The lighting there was really uncomfortable (UV light all over).
