Guest house was comfortable but hardly any restaurants to chose from in the town

choice of breakfast was good. comfortable bed. Very good hosts.

Very friendly & helpful hosts. Our room was lovely..we really appreciated the fan!

A short walk into the town, the hosts were very friendly. Our room was cleaned each day and refreshments restocked which you dont always get. Having a decent fan in our room was a big bonus! Would definitely rebook if we stayed in the area again.

Only reason it wasnt a 10 was because there wasnt free parking, other than that it was excellent!

Great B&B, Great Hosts, Great Location...!

Good breakfast although we did have to pre -order the evening before. This was OK but suppose it did mean if you wanted something else it could have caused a bit of a problem in the kitchen. Plenty of choice of cereals, juice, fruit and yoghurt on offer as well and large pots of tea... The room was really spacious even if it was on the top floor and the addition of a wireless charger for mobile phones was excellent. Good room facilities and a spacious bathroom. Parking was in the nearby (3 minute walk) multi storey and parking permits were available. We will be back...!

Great Accommodation! Great Hosts! Great Holiday!

To start with the location was second to none. The hosts Steve & Lyn were absolutely fantastic, they made her feel extremely welcome were very friendly helpful and catered for all of my needs. My room had everything I could want, it was very cosy, clean and comfortable stocked up daily with all the essential items to make my stay a very successful and relaxing holiday! I will most definitely consider The Barclay Guest House my first choice when I return to Paignton in future.

There was nothing at all to not like or be disappointed about everything was just right and perfect for my holiday stay.

Highly recommend!

Great location close to the sea and main street. Welcoming staff. Tea and coffee facilities. Clean room and bathroom. A peaceful home away from home.

The room was quite hot. We did have a fan in our room which we used so that helped.

Lovely guesthouse

Steve and Lynn are lovely and I felt at home during my stay. The room is small, but clean and comfy, there is a TV, comfy mattress and the shower has good pressure, the road is quite so I could have a good rest after a long day walking. Their guest house is very close to the train station and there is a Lidl half way which is very convenient. Lynn cooks the best scrambled egg I have had and the breakfast was ready when i came down. I really enjoyed my time with them.
