Functional overnight stay in a comfortable box

It's a tiny box to sleep in, with just about enough room to walk around the bed. But the bed is comfortable, the shower good.

The wifi requires new login with personal details every time you switch on or return to the hotel. Why? And why does the dropdown list of country codes not have the country names. Automated checkin makes this hotel feel like an annoying computer run by Artificial Intelligence which is still learning. Maybe at this price the human touch is not available. The hotel (like several others in Beaune) is on a caged and gated light industrial estate. 15 mins walk to the centre although car parks in Beaune seem free so worth driving part way if that's too much. Pay 10 more euros and you can get better places.

Superb

For a budget stay in what is an expensive area, it proved good value for money.

The welcome by the check in staff. The room and its bathroom and facilities were all clean and well proportioned.

Due to a coach party staying at the hotel, the breakfast was chaotic, but in fairness the staff were good in providing extra crockery and food. A larger selection of food would be appreciated, although the quality of the food was good.
