Superb

Fantastic 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment with ocean views close to the action in Agrigento.

Giusy did a great job getting us set up for our four-night stay in Agrigento, explaining how the flat works and giving us tips about local amenities. The flat has a thoroughly modern feeling and was well laid-out for our extended family group of 6. The ocean views from the living room and from the balcony, and the close proximity to the lively pedestrian street Via Atenea are key selling points. The food and drinks in the fridge were a very nice addition. We made good use of the kitchen, the very large dining table, the large TV in the living room and the washing machine. There was no tumble drier but our clothes dried in about a day (in midwinter) on the rack we put on the balcony, which is better for the clothes and for the environment. We could conveniently park our mid-sized van a hundred metres west in the regional train station car park. Thanks to double glazing and modern seals the apartment was pretty quiet inside despite backing onto an important road intersection in this hilltop town.

The review system asks for something we didnt like, and thats a tough question - this place is better than all the short-term apartments we can remember staying in. The door knob was a little loose (but never came off) and there were few minor paint scratches on the walls. But having said that I want to add that the cleaner is a genius because when we arrived the kitchen and bathrooms looked like theyd never been used before.

Superb

Location - right in the heart of the Old Town. Very comfy beds and pillows. Nice breakfast with the view.

Rooms are not quiet - you can hear neighbours and all noises from corridors and streets. There was no hot water in my room (4th floor) due to maintenance since the very first day. But when I complained the staff offered me a different room and everything was fine - they responded really quickly and professionally.

Poor

Most noisy hotel ever. Never again.

great location, ok breakfast

It is the most noisy hotel I've even been to. On the first morning constructions started at 7am, with metal drilling waking everyone up. We were on the top floor, above us the restaurant, where they were moving all furnitures all evening long until 10pm. Then again starting 7am the noise from moving things around for breakfast woke everyone up. There are no carpets anywhere and the staff is loud in the hallways as well. Basically one can only sleep between 10pm and 7am. Never again.

We paid for a suite It was irritating that it was hidden in an annex up a few stairs with no railing. The small lift us very slow. Breakfast not brilliant, esp no fruit salad, 2nd day no brown bread
