Superb

An excellent hotel in a good location for day trips to the surrounding areas.

Close to the train station, convenient for day trips. Canal Grande is a 10-minute walk away. Clean room and comfortable beds. Friendly hotel staff.

The room we got was on the ground floor, the windows were cloudy and difficult to open, so we didn't have a view of the street and the city.

Great place in Trieste

Located close to Trieste Centrale as well as to two of the main bus interchanges. Staff were friendly, pleasant, bright, welcoming and very helpful. Our third floor room was an adequate size, had a comfortable bed, a good sized ensuite and was quiet. The complimentary breakfast was amazing with an array of local dishes. Value for money. Highly recommended.

It was OK after the room was changed and reasonable Comfortable

On Check in we were given a room on the 4th Floor . It turned out to be a small LOFT room , No Windows and no Aircon working . We were disgusted . A small double bed was pushed up against a wall . I saw these rooms and explicitly asked not to be booked into a LOFT Room . Found it an insult to be placed into what I would describe as fit for a Child's Room . We arrived after 22H00 that night . I refused to stay in it as my wife is an Asthmatic and we cant live in a room with NO AIR. The receptionist was adamant that is what we booked and payed for in ADVANCE . Eventually she looked and the gave us their nest room which was available on the 1st Floor . We've traveled and stayed in Hotels on all Continents livable . This was the worst experience at our age 71 coming off traveling for 24 hours . The receptionist after upgrading the room said we must now write good reviews . My concions and integrity does not allow me to do this as their may be other Travelers who may have the same experience . JUST MAKE SURE YOU DON'T GET THE LOFT ROOM AND THEIR IS NO AIRCON IN ROOMS IN WINTER I WAS TOLD .

THE CHECK INTO THE SMALL LOFT ROOM WHERE THERE WAS NO SPACE TO MOVE . ACTUALLY AN INSULT TO SEASONED TRAVELERS WHO ARE NOT USED TO LIVING IN SUCH AN ENVIRONMENT . It is suited to single travelers or back backers looking for a place to stay for 1 night only. They should use their discretion when allocating rooms and especially when a Client emails the Property alerting them that they saw these loft rooms and don't want it.

No cable stations in English, pillows were bad, light switch was same place as the pillows and accidentally turn on in the middle of the night. Steps to lug your suitcases up to the front door, but manager helped.

Perfekt fr die Innenstadt mit Bahnanreise

Very close to the train station and the center of the town. The breakfast was much better than expected for the price. All in all a good place to stay for a night or two.

I did not like to get many mails offering an upgrade.

Very helpful staff

We needed something close to the train station and this was absolutely perfect, a few minutes walk to the train and bus stations. We were supposed to catch a train to Rome early next morning but all the trains were cancelled for the day because of the bad weather and despite the effort of the extremely helpful receptionists Martina and Daniela (grazie mille), we couldn't find other transport that would suit us and decided to stay in the Hotel another night. We have nothing negative to say about B&B Trieste, very happy with our stay, the room was clean and specious, the staff was very friendly and approachable, Martina and Daniela were unbelievably helpful and their English was excellent. Thank you B&B Hotel Trieste, we'll be back
