    About This Property

    Located on the Esplanade on Weymouth’s beautiful seafront, Beachcomber Guesthouse offers bed and breakfast accommodation across the road from the town’s famous sandy beach. Free WiFi is accessible in (Read More) the guest rooms, and FREE PARKING is possible on site. Our car park is not drive in and off but bumper to bumper. If you want to use your car whilst staying with us you will need to liaise with us and other guests to move cars around on our car park. Free street parking is available a 5 minute walk from Beachcomber Beachcomber Guesthouse is a Georgian townhouse, with rooms decorated in a classic style. All rooms are en suite with shower facilities. Rooms come complete with a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. A full English breakfast as well as a vegetarian option is on offer every morning in the dining room together with cereals; toast and juice also available. Cost of a cooked breakfast is £10 per person and £5 if only wanting cereals and toast. The centre of Weymouth is a 10-minute walk away along the Esplanade. Weymouth Railway Station is 0.5 miles from the property.

    Can I be allowed to simply state that this will be my first choice when I want a trip such as this. I did not even notice the view because it did not matter. I could walk over the road to the sea. The area has everything that a person could need. The coastline is breathtaking. The Nothe Fort grounds are home to the most friendly, lovely adorable Squirrels that I didn't get to the Fort before it closed and I didn't care . Just buy food for them and spend as much time in the gardens as you can
    That I was not carried up to my room and had to actually walk up the stairs and back down again for my breakfast. I am now ruined for breakfasts because if I want a perfect English breakfast I must now drive hundreds of miles to this exact Guesthouse.

    We really enjoyed our stay and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to our friends.
    Great location, friendly/helpful hosts.
    Only minor criticism might be the lack of access from the car park into the rear of the property.

    It was a lovely place to stay and close to all amenities. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
    The landlady and landlord were very kind, I was taken ill, my mother contacted the landlords who were out having a meal, the landlord left his meal and came back to the guest house to see what he could do to help me, in my eyes they went above and beyond, I would definitely recommend the beachcomber guesthouse as a good place to stay.

    Thoroughly enjoyable!
    Great location and lovely clean room. We booked the small double but it was plenty big enough for the two of us with lots of little nooks and crannies to store luggage. Jules and Ray are lovely hosts with good communication prior to and during our stay with them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beachcomber and would definitely recommend!

    Nice breakfast, very welcoming, clean and tidy with an extra room to store belongings. I was attending the Ironman race and was happy I could take my bike into the spare room before the race as it is rather expensive
    Despite assuring the owners that I would make sure the bike was clean and dry after the race (which I did) a rather impersonal note was left on the front door of the guesthouse and room forbidding entry of the bike into the house insisting it was stored securely in their garden. I doubt their insurance would have covered the cost of my bike so I was forced to dismantle it and leave it in my car overnight. Obviously I respected their wishes, but it would have been nice to have been spoken to about this before hand and not have my wife rather curtley spoken to by Ray whilst I was still racing. Jules & Ray - totally respect your decision as it is your house afterall - but be clear about it beforehand and talk to your guests - don't leave notes especially when they are in the mddle of a race! If you are going to rent rooms in the middle of of Ironman event with 2800 participants the likelhood is they will have a bike with them - be clear you don't allow it.

    Great location, good facilities and lovely hosts.
    Easy to find, great location, good parking, room 2 was comfortable, sheets were crisp and clean. Tea & coffee making facilities in room and fresh milk refreshed daily, fridge in room. Shower not strong but did the job.
    Nothing really. The only mention is the traffic and footfall is quite loud in our room but as others have said there are rooms at the rear if this bothers you. It didnt disturb us when we stayed in September and its definitely not a complaint.
