There were only a few minor things. For some, the high kitchen stools might be hard to manage, The beds were quite firm (a bit too firm for me). In the second-floor bedroom, you will have to climb in from the foot of the bed. On the plus side, the windows opened fully to let in the pleasant evening breeze, and a shutter helped keep the streetlight from shining in our eyes. As in many European bathrooms, the tub/shower is quite high and requires care when getting in. A bathtub mat would have helped make it feel more secure. Again, on the plus side, the soap and toiletries were a nice touch, there was good water pressure, and the towels (and linens) provided were quite nice. There was even a washcloth! The kitchen was adequately stocked, although the knives were a little too dull to cut with. Be sure to ask about arriving by taxi as the street is too narrow to drive on, but the host gave us good alternatives and we had no problems. These minor issues in no way interfered with the enjoyment of our stay.
