    Bed was nice and Comfy
    Location
The room was dusty. Many bulbs not working. The room advertised was not the one we got they showed the wrong pictures. I booked the superior king sweet. The pictures showed a bathtub and bigger room than I received. I sent a message two and half weeks before my stay asking if my room does have bathtub. They didnt reply to this message. I was not happy with this as this was the reason I booked this trip in the first place was the bathtub. I was very disappointed when I went to talk to a staff member about this and I was told they show these pictures to bring guests in confirming the false advertisement as if it is acceptable. I woke up and was hungry for something to eat. Luckily we had breakfast included. Sadly this was another disappointment the food was not fresh and was very little selection.

Ticked the boxes for all aspects of comfort.
This hotel deserves superlatives. Friendly, helpful staff; clean, comfortable room tastefully but individually decorated; exceptional breakfast menu [included in the room price] served in the adjoining La La restaurant. Good parking space. Walking distance (or inexpensive taxi ride) from the railway station. Quiet location but within a few minutes walk of the main shopping street. Bus stop 2-3 minutes walk away.
The few metres walk for breakfast at the restaurant next door could be discouraging in very bad weather.

    Beautiful, Atmospheric Accommodation.
We adored the quirkiness of this accommodation, it was beautiful and old and full of atmosphere. The fact it was connected to The institute of music and Song and The Lark gave the house a very special feeling. It was just so pretty and cozy. And the Bed was very cozy. Food was very good.
Only one thing was the smell of must.(Added to the atmosphere) It's a house from 1700 so Not unusual in this style building.

Magnificent night away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life.
Old world Victorian townhouse with modern aesthetic facilities which blended the old and new exceptionally well.
    Nothing.

Promised a lot, but really didnt live up to the hype.
Comfortable bed, quirky and unique room.
Extremely disappointed in cold breakfast service and very cold breakfast room. Hotel was booked based on recommendations regarding breakfast, among other things and the offering was very poor. Unfortunately would not stay again.

    Great stay at Bedford Hall
Friendly staff and a nice cosy atmosphere. Room was nicely decorated and bed very comfortable!
Need to put parking instructions on booking.com as wasn't clear where residents parking was. In the end car park at La La was full so parked on kerb opposite Lark and moved car later into the carpark. Not ideal but it worked!

    Disappointing
Overall it was a pretty confusing and weird experience.
Dinner and breakfast were very good. The food was amazing. The restaurant staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. They seemed to run an entire hotel business. We slept very well. Our room was quiet.
    1. No entrance to the hotel. The main door to the hotel was closed. The reception desk was situated next door to the building. No directions were provided. 2. The reception was not prepared for our arrival. Seemed very busy. One person at reception. 3. We asked for a room with a bath when making a booking. We asked again for a room with a bath when checking in. We've got a room with no bath. ( we've got a complimentary bottle of wine with dinner ) 4. Entrance to rooms was in a separate building. We were hit with a strong smell of dampness when entering the building. 5. No towels in the room. We called a reception ( restaurant replied ). We've got towels. 6. Cold water in the shower in the evening and the morning again cold shower. 7. The door to the toilet was made from glass. I could see my parent sitting on the toilet while lying on the bed . It wasn't a major issue for us. It would be tho if I would travel with anyone other than my partner. 8. The shower drain was blocked. 9. When checking out - the building with the reception desk was closed. No reception. We left the key in the restaurant. Overall it was a pretty confusing and weird experience.

They gave me the exact room I requested which I'm really grateful for. I've never stayed in that room but I did stay in the hotel before. At the checkout a housekeeping staff left the door wide open so I said to myself I want this room next and I came back and they got it for me. Serious thanks for that.
The breakfast was fantastic and so was the service apart from one thing, the main thing. misselling. I'm not sure if the girl is new but that doesn't excuse the other part. Before giving my order I specifically asked the girl " You see how the breakfast is included, what is the limit in terms of amount of money or dishes etc" Her response "Well if the breakfast is included then there is no limit" Then I said "Alright then let's go all out" She laughed. We ate pancakes, scrambled egg and full Irish . Then as we're about to leave we get told by the same girl that the total is 52.65 My jaw dropped as I specifically asked.. What. Is. The. Limit. How. Does. This. Work. Here. Because the last time I stayed here I actually didn't have to pay for breakfast at the end. But okay this 50 won't hurt my pockets, maybe the person before or after me will get mislead aswell.. what makes this worse is that If she genuinely didn't know that there is a limit, what's stopping her from just coming back up to the table before the food is cooked or before MORE is being made and tell me.. ""Actually there is a 20 limit per person" Or " You can only choose one dish and one drink per person" I would've been so fine with that. Other than that I seriously love this place because it's close to home and it's nice. Just that one thing I wasn't prepared for at the end that took it from 100/10 to a 7/10. The manager also just watched the whole thing happen and didn't come up to say a word. Thank you for hosting us.

    Pleasant
Nice room and location. Everything around that seemed disorganised, but it WAS Christmas day....
Location is good. Room was lovely, if too warm, so a bit uncomfortable. That can be a personal preference I know, but a bedroom should be a bit cooler at night for a comfortable sleep.
I booked a B&B, but was only told when I went to pick up the key that it was now only a 'continental' breakfast, not a full one. I accept that it was Christmas night, but I should have been told this when I booked, not on the day. And at that, the breakfast was poor. Bland packets of rice crispies or cornflakes ? Blackening bananas, small applies. Surely you could have done better. Price seemed a bit steep for what my mother got, but I don't book B&Bs too often, so maybe this is par for the course now. Also, it was only when I picked up the key that it became clear the room was on the 3rd floor, so 4 flights of stairs. I booked this room for my mother, who's 83 - hardly ideal. Yes, you weren't to know, but I'd have expected that anyone would be told that the room was at the top of the house, in case that was an issue. Also, I had 3 calls, from 3 different people, over 3 days, each one changing the time for key pickup. The last one, at 11am on Christmas day, was to ask me to pick up the key NOW if at all possible. I appreciate that, being Christmas Day, things would be a bit up in the air, but it just seemed a bit chaotic all round. But the room was very nice, and my mother slept well, so things went ok for the important parts I guess.

    Very good
    Excellent
The rooms are beautiful and very luxurious, each one is unique. The bed was really comfy and lovely bathroom, his and hers sinks. Brilliant value for money and the breakfast was lovely. Other than confusion with the location of the hotel, it was amazing. Highly recommended.
The building location was confusing. The address link to the building has a different name than the hotel. If there was a description or details explaining this on the hotel websites, it would be helpful.
