Clean comfortable overnight stay

Second stay here, lovely friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms and good breakfasts

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed as hotel wasnt very busy, as a solo travel this was inconvenient as it meant going out to one of the two local pubs and eating alone or getting a takeaway. I was offered the option of plates and cutlery to eat a takeaway in the hotel bar

Cleanliness. Breakfast. The door to our room being wide open gave us a massive welcome. Never had that before. Its the little things!

Price of my glass of wine. 8. We thought we would support the hotel by having a drink downstairs but that was expensive!

The room was adequate for a short stay and the location of the hotel was convenient.

Breakfast was good except for the reconstituted orange juice which had artificial sweetener in it - and the Americano from the coffee machine was very weak. Luckily the filter coffee was good.

The restaurant was cold- the electric heaters were not adequate for the size of the room. The room heaters were complicated to adjust. I think it would be helpful to provide instructions in each room. It was disppointing that the showers were not thermostatic so when turned off midway though the shower the water went cold.

Extremely dog friendly, best place we have stayed!!

Bathroom was totally tiled, floor and walls and it stayed condensed up no matter what we did.
