Better places elsewhere

Close to a good choice of places to eat

The hotel is a bit dingy, and there was a hair left in the bathroom which wasn't good. We chose this as an overnight stopover and Reims isn't really suitable for that - too big, crowded and far too much traffic.

It was doable for one night.

The location was close to the car park. The people at reception were very helpful and friendly

It is not the standard of Best Western that I am use to , in fact it did not feel like a Best Western hotel. I have stayed at a few around the world. Early in the morning the fire alarm went off. It kept on ringing for a good 2 minutes. We did not know what to do. Nobody came to our floor to tell us to evacuate or not. My husband got dressed to go to reception to find out it there was indeed a fire or not. At breakfast we asked for bacon and was told it is finish. However when I went to ask reception if we can have bacon she sent the lady in the kitchen to buy bacon and asked her to cook it.

Would stay again

It was wonderfully located in the middle of town with everything you need and want very close. A good sized room with comfortable bed, it was good value for money and easily walkable from the train station. Staff were very helpful.

Breakfast was a bit underwhelming. We had to wait for more heated food despite there being another hour of service.
