Everything was brilliant definitely be coming back so peaceful and relaxing.

Nothing really the only tiny thing was not enough steak on my husbands kebab but my steak was perfect

Bad service and not child friendly

Not much at all

When I booked I requested an earlier check-in as this was 3pm and my son and I needed to be ready to leave for an important event at 4pm. I received an email saying I couldnt request this until the day I arrived. I arrived at 11am after leaving home at 6am so my son and I could go for a swim before needing to get ready. I was told I could not have the room until 3pm after pleading to have it from 2pm they would not budge. I said I would have to get ready in the gym showers after a swim and was told no children were allowed in the pool until after 4pm. I only booked this hotel because they had a pool. My son is 9 and very grown up for his age, hes not the type to make a lot of noise and disturb other guests. The staff were so un-accomodating and really couldnt care less. We ate lunch and dinner in the hotel and in both occasions they had minimal staff so the service was really slow and unfriendly. The breakfast was awful with a minimal selection and really poor quality produce. The Hotel in general is dated and run down but I could deal with that if the service was good but it wasnt. Definitely will not be staying here again.

This hotel is in a good location and suited my purpose as a convenient overnight stay for Dartmouth

Great Shower!! Excellent receptionist she was welcoming and attentive. The bar looked clean and tidy The location was great.

Some cobwebs and dust in little used areas of my room. The steak was a bit dried out and tough, the waiter was good but he was processing but not engaging! The food was not really good value compared to many other hotels I have stayed in. Edible, yes but good, no!

Twin room might have been a mistake for two large men, service excellent, everything else average

Staff were all native english speakers that we engaged with and were excellent. Staff had advised prior to our visit that phone signal was non-existent and also confirmed when we arrived, however in room 106 which is ground floor, we received superb coverage on EE which was helpful as we were on call all night. Wifi if needed was good also. Excellent bathroom clearly refurbed more recently than the rooms.

It's be a long time since I slept in a single bed, and at 6'3" and large build I felt the bed was tiny. If these are not normal sized beds then they should be. If they are then I need a diet and you can disregard. My colleague sharing the room is 6'6" and skinny, but also felt that the singles were smaller than normal. Breakfast was included in our rate as I opted to pay the extra, however had I paid the advertised 15.95 on Booking.com I would have been very disappointed, whilst the food was excellent in terms of taste and quality I thought the selection was a little limited and the toaster was not on so toast had to be ordered at the kitchen (which saved us eating too much of course).

Good

We love the location having stayed there before. Didnt play golf but the having played the course loads of times, its great. Good to have a spa on site too.

We booked a suite however, it was only really a suite in name due to the size. It was old fashioned inside and quite tired/tatty. The lounge area was pretty barea big TV and 2 fairly old and tired sofas. The bathroom needs updating. We had to ask for the room to be cleaned again as it looked like it hadnt been vacuumed (at the least). Clearly nobody had moved the sofas as there was debris underneath when we repositioned them to more conveniently watch TV, and we found someone else discarded earphones behind a bedside table. We also had to ask for bath robes which shouldve been in the bathroom

Had a great weekend

Didnt have breakfast. Lovely big room and bed, all very clean including the bathroom. Lovely comfortable lounge/ dining room. Excellent friendly staff. Superb swimming pool and jacuzzi. Overall we had a great weekend stay.
