The property reminded me a bit of a celebrity attending a red-carpet event, wearing a Versace dress, but with torn and dirty underwear. The outer was stunning, but once you looked beneath there were many flaws. There were chipped mugs in the kitchen, cracked candle holders in the lounge, hair in the drawers in one of the bedrooms, a loose shower head in one of the bathrooms, a towel that was stained by bleach and used as a shower mat, and a gas grill that had not been cleaned in months. We actually had to clean it ourselves just so we could put our meat on it. The blinds in the main bedroom could not close, which was fine because it had curtains, but a problem if you are light sensitive and find it hard to sleep. The hand lotion dispensers in the bathrooms were empty and not refilled, some dispenses were only a quarter filled. The containers of bath salts were all empty and not even cleaned. Check out is at 10am, but the cleaners arrived at 08h45, just walked into the home while we were having breakfast. Had this property applied to be listed on Airbnb, it would never have made the criteria, due to their high standards. This property is definitely due for a maintenance upgrade.
