Location.

Could hear the trams going by. Could hear neighbours on both sides and above. Toilet flush from the room above goes through your room. Irritating. Ongoing renovations. NO LIFT!!! Restaurant and bar were closed. Breakfast was basic and served later than advertised. The staff do try to make it as comfortable as possible. But this Hotel should be closed till the renovations are completed!!!! Avoid if possible!!

Location was close to pubs and restaurants.

Renovations. No lift. Room was noisy. Onsite restaurant and bar was closed. Breakfast was ok but not great.

Wonderful lakeside hotel with cozy and well equipped rooms

Very well prepared room, the bathroom was especially nicely with amenities and space. Staff was super kind and helpful, and the breakfast was especially nice and various.

The room size could have been slightly bigger, but this is a personal preference. Due to current constructions the elevator as an example was out of order, which was a little unfortunate but not at all bothering!

The room was fine,warm and clean. also location was very good. A particular staff member stood out in reception Fabien, a very polite and informative receptionist, she was very helpfull and excellent front off house person

The fact that the kitchen closes at 3pm on Friday and you can not get anything to eat or drink over the weekend, except at breakfast the selection was not great either, boiled eggs scrambled or beans, cold seclection not good either.

Disappointing

The room was nicely furnished. But everything else was deeply disappointing.

It is in a good location.

1.) We arrived early and were told our rooms were not ready. We understood this because check-in is officially at 3PM. We have travelled across Europe and usually hotels will let you in early if rooms are available, but since we were especially early, it was understandable that we had to wait. They offered to let us keep our luggage there and we strolled around the city. Hours later we came back and at 2:33PM, they told us the rooms are still not ready. We were told to wait at the restaurant, where we were approached to order drinks while we waited. We declined this because at this point, we just wanted to get to our rooms for our very early flight out tomorrow. At 3PM sharp, we walked the five steps back to reception from the table. Reception staff informed us that our room still wasnt ready, but they could put us in a different room. It felt awkward at this point, because we wondered why they didnt just do this out of courtesy back at 2:33PM. At this point, we were asked to punch in our information on their computer screen. I dont mind doing their jobs, but again, I wondered why they didnt have us do this at 2:33 to save additional time at the front desk. Around 3:10 we finally could go to a room that was not originally intended for us. 2.) When we entered the room, it was clear that we were given a room intended for a single traveler. We had requested a room for two people. One set of towels. One set of pillows. One night chocolate. One pair of slippers. One duvet. We called and they brought up the required materials, but this was super annoying after a long wait to prepare a roomthat clearly wasnt prepared for us. 3.) We asked reception to call us a taxi for tomorrow. Little did we know, we would be called a luxury car that would cost us $75 for a 20 minute ride to the airport.
