We booked the "Superior apartment". Unfortunately when we arrived at the property we were absolutely shocked at the apartment we were given. It is absolutely nothing like the apartment shown on the listing, and this false advertisement is very alarming. Photos show. There was mould in the rooms, on the walls, the ceilings. Marks all over the walls where paintings looked ripped off. Stains everywhere on the carpets. Blinds that were broken in the bedrooms. Cupboards open everywhere, as if someone had just been in the property.
To not ruin my father's birthday we left the property to go for some dinner nearby. When we left, we only left the living room light on, all other lights off and windows shut. We always make sure to do this with any property. Our items were also inside. When we left I made sure to lock the front door completely, by turning the key all the way round to the left. When we returned, every single light was on, the kitchen window was open which when we tried you could open completely open. The front door had been unlocked, so when I turned the key just to the right it opened. All of the lights were on in every room. This was the exact moment we realized it was unsafe for us to stay there, especially with two very small children. The first thing I did was to book somewhere else and leave.
When we left, I tried to lock the door again and it wouldn't lock from the outside like it did before. Just completely unsafe.
Parking was also a nightmare, was told to park in any of the spaces, to then have a sticker on my car the next morning suggesting I would get a fine.
For our children to also be in an area of apartments where women were bringing different men into the apartments, whilst we walked around was another reason we absolutely could not stay.
The next morning I called the property, and got no answer. I also messaged pictures and videos, and no answer. I would love to hear an explanation. Absolutely gutting.
