Great location with comfortable room and kind host

Location was convenient to commute to famous attraction nearby. The host Elena was really helpful and guided us with answers to all our queries.

Room could have cleaner. Bathroom was old and shower had mildew. Bar across from room started cleaning up trash and making a lot of noise at 5:00am.

Very good

Ca del dose is in a great location, close to major attractions, yet quiet and close to local eateries.

The property was an older style which made it very quaint. The location was wonderful, near all major attractions, yet in a quiet street. Recommendations for restaurants were excellent and the water bus to and from the airport was close by. The staff were wonderful, very and helpful.

Superb

Overall pleasant stay restful - good acccess to tourist attractions and transportation.

Easy access to St Marks Square, lovely small campo outside our window with children playing and families out for the evening. Good local dining. Daily housekeeping.

Difficult to reach owner. Didn't want to spend my time in Venice getting better WEB access. We were led to believe the we had internet access but that wasn't available.

A pleasant stay at Venice

The hotel was very clean, located close to vaporetto stops and near Piazza San Marco. I also appreciate Elena's warm demeanor and helpful attitude towards our questions.

The room was small, and breakfast was not included in the price. Nevertheless, Elenor showed the courtesy of suggesting a pasticceria where service charges would not be applied (the food at the recommended pasticceria were delicious by the way).

Close to waterfront!! Good value.

Location was great. Easy to get to from train. Take ferry to stop and short walk. Elena- the lady who checked us in was very helpful. She brought me a kettle when asked, told us about an upcoming strike for transportation employees, and had a fun personality!! Could open windows without bugs and look below at people walking narrow lane.

The bed! So hard, lumpy, and uncomfortable. The nights were noisy. Lots of slamming doors throughout the night- maybe from shops and restaurants below. Good value for cost of room.
