Felt a bit trapped because transfers to other places on the island were too expensive. Shame because other beaches on the island are beautiful, and they should encourage guests to visit them. Only other thing to be aware of is that there are rooms without pools. If the primary reason for a guest to be there is to experience the "marketed" image, then that will be an issue for them.

I didn't like there lunch menu and there dinner menu , stuff cooked not right.
Also that never was discussed with me that I have to pay for transportation every time I leave the hotel 70 just to go downtown to grab dinner bc we didn't like the food at the hotel.

Calilo is one of the most extraordinary hotels we have ever been in. We didnt know anything about it and were completely blown away. Staying there is like being on a set of a movie. You can really feel that the owner have poured their heart and souls into it. Every little detail is thought off and executed with perfection. If you want to experience something very unique this is the best place in the world to stay at. It is like staying at a Goudi museum with staff that makes you feel like royalty. It is not only the facilities that are out of this world but the energy and vibe made this place so special.

The breakfast was exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble and the chefs will create anything for you which you wish. The staff are extraordinary. Every single minute of each day.
There is NOTHING at this resort which could be better. Everything is exceptional and everything is extraordinary ~ like nothing you e ever seen before.

it was the most beautiful hotel it was like paradise. the staff was unbelievable so helpful in every way. I used the gym everyday the yoga instructor was amazing. forget 5 star this place should be a 10 star.
