An ideal stay for a family seeking comfort, quiet and togetherness.

The rooms are a comfrotable size with care taken by the staff to ensure they are kept clean. The food is really tasty and healthy , the cook is very accomodating to individual tastes,given enough notice. From breakfast to dinner its a treat ! The limited rooms are surely a plus as you have a sense of privacy in the entire campus. The host, Kalponika is always around offering suggestions, help and pleasant company. The location is not far from the park entrance and the main town ,the property itself is spread over a fairly large area, you can sunbathe on the lawn or terrace or just walk around helping pick vegetables in the organic garden. The evening campfires are something to look forward to and theres never any pressure of time restrictions to just keep staring at the fire. Would recommend this property especially to families or those seeking a peaceful home stay .

Nice tent in the garden for a safari

Sleeping in a tent was just great (although it was cold at night), food was also excellent and we loved the talks around the fire in the evening! Kalponica and her husband made things interesting for their guests. Loved meeting our tent neighbours / Indian couple. Very attentive (one of us was sick and they were truly helpful).

Staff hardly speaks English and as Kalponica does not live on site this makes communication very difficult. We also thought that staff would wake us up at 5.30am with a cup of tea prior to taking our safari... but they slept over and forgot!! But thanks to the ambient noise from the street, we were awake anyway so this was not a big deal... but still!! We ended up also doing our 2 safari in the same zone (zone 8) which was a disappointment even if we were lucky to spot one tiger on the 1st one. Finally, don't assume that the area is quiet at night!!! It was very noisy - busy road and you also hear the trains from a distance
