    It was a travel lodge, location was rubbish and the lack of taxis and busses made accessing the cite and the town very difficult if you dont have a car

    We had a great stay in Carcassonne. Hotel Campanile fulfilled all expectations
    Lovely stay in Campanile Carcassonne. Room was very clean, hotel staff were extremely helpful and the pool was lovely. Location is about a 10-15 minute mostly flat walk from the Medieval City with the old town and Canal du Midi about another 10 minute walk from there. It's a lovely lace to walk around. We got a taxi to the Lac de la Cavayre (20). Taxi from the airport was 25.

    The hotel staff members I encountered were cheerful and helpful from check-in through check-out. The facilities were well maintained and clean. The location was easily accessible by car and there were a lot of parking slots.
