Upon our arrival on 31/12, we were taken aback by the overwhelming atmosphere surrounding the hotel.
The area was crowded, and people were smoking everywhere, leaving my hair smelling unpleasant just to walk from the hotel to Lawson.
The hotel itself was super crowded, making it impossible for us to use the onsena feature we specifically sought out as per our children's request for an onsen experience in Osaka.
The relaxation area, post-onsen, was filled with guests who were not only noisy but also brought food and beer, creating an environment that seemed unsafe for my children.
However, on the second and third nights, the situation improved. The crowd diminished significantly, transforming the atmosphere from chaotic to calm and peaceful. While the initial night on 31/12 saw around 100 people, the subsequent nights, 1/1 and 2/1, had around 30 people, making our stay more enjoyable.
We encountered an issue with the parking area near the hotel, where the machine broke and overcharged us. I promptly informed the hotel staff, who proved to be extremely helpful. The staff members were notably nice and friendly, addressing our concerns with efficiency.
the hotel's location was excellent, allowing us to walk to the shopping street within 5 minutes. This convenience added to the positive aspects of our stay, and we appreciated the efforts of the staff in resolving issues promptly.

The location was amazing, but thats what you are paying for right?
The staff was the true highlight of the stay. Our Shinkansen was cancelled due to the New Years earthquake. The staff helped us call our next hotel and figure out a different route. Excellent customer service.
Our room has 2 full size beds (slightly bigger than twin). It will be perfect if theres just 2 of us. Unfortunately for a family of 4, it was too crowded. If we had known ahead of time, we will have either booked a hotel further away from Dotonbori or 2 rooms.
Another thing - the rooms do not have a cupboard or drawers or shelves. If you have lots of clothes to hang, this can be a problem.

Value for money. Good location. Cleanliness could be better.
The location was excellent. The breakfast was good. The laundry was a lifesaver.
The room was smaller than the pictures. The housekeeping could be better, as they did not vacuum the carpet in the room. Also we had to carry our own luggages to the room ourselves.

The pictures did not live up to the reality.
This was our first visit to Osaka and the location of this hotel is very central. The whole time we were there we could to walk to all attractions we were interested in.
The hotel room we got was not what I had in mind based on the pictures. Yes, I knew it was going to be small but it felt very cramped that even two people in the room were uncomfortable with no where to put our stuff. This was especially true in the bathroom that was tiny. Also, our hotel room did not feel clean like our other stays in Japan.
We will not be staying here again.

Great onsen, decent room with great bed
Rooftop onsen was so nice and a well maintained and was a highlight of our stay. Was great to relax as a family at the end of the day , excellent comfortable king size bed. . Staff were lovely. Decent breakfast. Location is great if you want to hang out in Dotomburi. Very well priced.
The hallways and rooms are very dusty and clearly need a good carpet clean. It wasnt up to the hygiene standards of other hotels im Jaoan we stayed at. The rooms were OK hygiene wise, but it just looks like staff don't get enough time to do the floors properly or need better equipment. There is no shelving or cupboards to store anything in your room, but you do get a really massive bed as a trade off.
As a family with a young child the area isn't the most family friendly, a few drunks in the morning to walk past, but being Japan still felt pretty safe. (This obviously isn't the hotels fault)
Also the washer/dryers in the relaxation lounge are expensive and the dryer takes forever. I spent two hours trying to wash/dry my clothes and ended up taking it to a coin laundry that dried them in 20 minutes.
