    The location is very central to many things but still feels extremely private. The room was very large and comfortable. The staff was helpful and attentive and the continental breakfast was good.
    The rooms were a little dated. The bathrooms, while big, are older and the shower didn't drain quite properly and the towel warmers didn't work. It was still a very spacious bathroom.

    A great choice hotel
    An excellent location for getting around. Our room, Ducce Gsrden, was a mini apartment with nice living area and kitchenette, good bathroom with walk-in shower and very comfortable bedroom with good wardrobe space. Very good breakfast and all staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.
    A minor gripe but there could have been some brighter light in the bathroom and bedroom.

    We came back at the end of our trip. It was great.
    The Chalet room was great. The breakfast breads and pastries were fantastic. Loved the overall vibe of this boutique hotel. Quiet but centrally located. Front desk staff were terrific.

    Breakfasts were great. Quiet street but central location. Short walk to train to Sintra, main sights and restaurants. Also enjoyed private use of spa.

    I loved everything about this place, and I hope to be back soon!
    I loved it all! The location was very central, the staff were all so sweet and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, and the included amenities on-site (breakfast, pool, spa) were above-and-beyond additions. I am never sad about leaving the accommodations when my trip is over - except for Casa Balthazar! I miss it already.
    The only (very small) downside to this location is cars/Ubers cant drive up to the door. Because of the dead end narrow street and construction, we had to walk to the end of the road to get a car. Not bad at all though!
