Booking.Com's Mis Represention of Casa dos Costas

Location was great and size of accommodation was very good

It was dirty, inside and out.Miould in all the bathrooms, the toilet seat was broken with a big crack in it,,the shower screen was rusty and dirty the tiles were crumbling and patched up with polyfilla, the oven hadn't been cleaned. We had to wash the crockery, and the glasses, many were chipped. The fridge hadn't been cleaned. Outside around the pool were empty Vape cartridges, plastic bottle tops, bits of plastic lying by the loungers. The area around the pool was crumbling and we needed to be careful where we walked. The BBQ was dreadful, old coals left and the griddle hadn't been cleaned and was covered in gunge. The outside chairs were unsafe to sit on. The pictures on the website are a total misrepresentation of the actual villa, I don't know what year they were taken but no reflection of what condition it's now in.It needs a total refurbishment They did ask if we wanted cleaners to come in a couple of days after we arrived, but we would have had to move everything out for them to clean properly and our holiday was already spoilt. I have complained to Booking.Com but still waiting for them to come back to me with a resolution. They should have paid us to stay there!! not us paying them!!.

Fabulous

Amazing space. Outside area was fabulous too. Only 2 of us there but would be perfect for a family group or friends. Loved the cat door stop

Only problem was the showers were very small in 2 of the rooms. Also, if things like salt, oil and everyday things were supplied it would be a great help
