Exceptional

This is a unique hotel that is conveniently situated and has responsive staff. We loved it.

The breakfast setting was charming and relaxing. With the large selection of food, both cold and hot, there really was something for everyone. The hotel's location was ideal--within a few blocks of the Massimo theater, the principal pedestrian street, and the historic market. The staff was very helpful.

Disappointing

Disappointing in general, a nice aesthetic to the hotel but the booking.com profile is misleading.

The aesthetic of the hotel was really lovely, it was really nice to sit by the pool in the courtyard whilst having breakfast. The breakfast itself was also nice. The location was convenient, slightly noisy but in a good central location. The breakfast and evening staff were very attentive and profesional.

The ameneties in the room were fairly poor - the shower leaked into the main bedroom area, which soaked the rug that was next to the bed on that side. There was absolutely no space for storage of clothes (wardrobe, drawers etc) which mean that the room felt very untidy. There was nowhere to hang wet towels, so we resorted to hanging them from the decorative shelving unit. The room itself was fairly dark and much smaller than we'd anticipated. The desk staff were fairly unhelpful. I had asked for an iron each day we stayed here, as advertised would be in the room as per the booking.com profile, which was never supplied. After several requests, we were provided with a steamer which we were unable to use as it had a non-EU plug and no adaptor. The facilities listed on the booking.com profile stated that there was a spa in the hotel, which does not exist. To summarise the discrepancies to the booking.com profile, there was no iron, no ironing service, no vallet parking, no offer of breakfast in room, no clothes rack, no wardrobe or closet, no bidet.
